Drawing closer.

Drawn In is now fast approaching.

Our partner exhibitions Drawn, Drawing On and The Drawing Lab are now up and running.

Here’s a quick mood board of what’s been going on behind the scenes. We’ve been busy.

Drawn In
is a co-curated exhibition by Blanche Parris, Hattie Lamb, Imogen Watson, Judith Stapleton, Kerry Messam and Peiqi Yan. It is a collaboration with the RWA Bristol and a response to the forthcoming exhibitions Drawn and  Drawing On… It is an attempt to reshape perceptions of drawing and to think beyond the limits of its traditional processes, mediums and formats.

Drawn In will open in May 2015 at the RWA Bristol.

” To draw is to be human […] we use it to dream […] we leave marks, tracks or shadows to mark our passing. Footprints in the snow, breath on the window, vapor trails of a plane across the sky, lines traced by a finger in the sand….’ – Emma Dexter, in. Vitamin D: New Perspectives in Drawing
